Tony & Judy & family- Lucy was a great spirit to be around for the past 30 plus years! She was such a joy at all the family gatherings and she loved to dance! If we all learn to dance & smile & love life perhaps we can live nearly a century like Lucy! Her legacy lives on through all her children, grandchildren & great grandkids! She is our new guardian angel and heaven has a fantastic lady (great cook) watching upon all those she loved & cared for! God Bless the Pellerito family.

I'VE KNOWN MRS.PELLERITO FOR OVER SIXTY FIVE PLUS YEARS. SHE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND MEMORIES. SHE WAS ONE OF THE BEST MOMS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND MY MOM NEXT DOOR. HOW COULD I FORGET HER OR HER COOKING [ spaghetti,meatballs lasagna,pizza,],etc...HER BAKING, forget it, THE BEST OATMEAL COOKIES EEVVEERR!!! , POWDERED SUGAR ANGEL WING COOKIES WOW!!! AND SOO MUCH MORE. OH,AND I CA'NT FORGET HER SPADINI (hint, hint,JIM.) THE ABSOLUTE BEST.I MUST SAY I ATE PRETTY GOOD. SO AS ONE OF THE BURGER BOYS( that's what she called us.) So sad to hear of Lucy's death. What a lovely, kind woman she was! Every time I think of growing up in my old neighborhood, I think of Lucy, Johnny and the family. Johnny's parents lived across the street from us on Chalmers, and Mrs. Pellerito the elder taught my sister how to make her pasta sauce. So good!

I hate knowing Lucy is gone. She was unfailingly sweet to me, every time I saw her. My condolences to Vita, Tommy, and all the other "kids."

Mom, it was an honor to care for you in our home for the last almost 2 years. I am just sorry you did not make it back home from MediLodge. Harley has been lost, looking for you. On the day you passed away Happy and family appeared in our yard. I think is was a sign that your trip to heaven was swift. Say hi to Dad from us! We will miss you!
