Louanna B Ellis' Obituary
Louanna B. Ellis passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at home. She was born in Coldwater, Ohio, June 8,1923 and moved to Celina, Ohio in 1940. Louanna married her husband Chalmer in
in Ohio. They moved to Port Huron in 1950 and to St. Clair in 1960. She retired from Blue Water Plastics after 21 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St.Clair.
She is survived by her husband of over 60 years , Chalmer. Two daughters, Dinah O’Dell of Clyde, MI. and Chalma (Rocky) Lumley and her favorite son-in-law Donald Lumley of St. Clair,
one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sue Ellis of East China, MI., three grandsons, six granddaughters, four grand sons-in-law, one grand daughter-in-law, four great grand daughters, one great grand son, and a special sister, Alma Thwaits of Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Ellis of St. Clair, sisters Colette and Hilda, brothers, Henry, Carl, Edwin, one niece and two nephews.
Visitation Wednesday 2-9 Pm in the L.C. Friederichs & son Funeral Home, St. Clair.
In state Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 10:30 till 11 AM when mass will be said.
