Linda Karen Smith's Obituary
Linda Karen Smith, age 75, of St. Clair, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2024. She was born on October 7, 1949 to the late Ross and Judy Smith. Linda worked at Chrysler Corp., retiring after 36 years of dedicated service. She was a longtime member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Linda was an avid animal lover, not only for her own pets, but often donating to various animal groups around the state. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially in her younger years, when they would take trips up north. Linda loved music, and had a special appreciation for 60s and 70s music. Later in life Linda was a caregiver, although she did not have kids of her own, she took pride in caring for her mother all of her adult life. Her kind heart and generous nature will be missed by those who knew Linda.
She is survived by her siblings, Cynthia (Andrew) Theis, Lynn (Gladys) Smith, Glenn (Debbie) Smith; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Smith, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Ross Smith.
Cremation arrangements with L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. A memorial mass will take place on Friday, December 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair.
