Lillian P. Heyboer's Obituary
Lillian Patricia Heyboer, loving and beloved of four children and four grandchildren died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the age of 86 in Ann Arbor. She was born at Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe on April 19, 1920 to Walter and Delia Houlihan Stang. She trained at Providence Hospital in Detroit, becoming a registered nurse. She served her country during World War II as a nurse in the US Army Air Corps, attaining the rank of first lieutenant.
After her discharge from military service in 1946, she became the wonderful wife of the late William W. Heyboer. Together they managed a small business importing and distributing precision parts used in the automotive manufacturing industry. During her life she resided in Detroit, Higgins Lake and Saint Clair, Michigan.
She was a kind, generous, loving and special person to all blessed to know her. She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Thomas and Myrna Heyboer, William A. Heyboer, Patricia and Michael Mulholland, and Gregory and Tonya Heyboer. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Erin and her husband Andy Zimmer, Kevin Mulholland, Katie Mulholland and Brenna Mulholland. Donations can be made to the Veterans Association or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in the lieu of flowers. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb 10 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair from 10 am till Mass at 11 AM. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son , St. Clair
