Lawrence Shackett age 90 of Marine City, died Thursday, July 4, 2013
Larry was born December 2, 1922 in Marine City to the late John and Venetta Shackett. He sailed the Great Lakes with the Merchant Marines and served in the
U.S. Navy. After service Larry worked as a custodian at Marine City High School until his retirement in 1986.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, his children Larry and Mary Shackett, Julie Shackett, Michelle Shackett and Frank Kulwicki; grandchildren Larry III, Marcy, Bryan and Anastasia and great grand daughter, Paige. Larry was also preceded in death by sons David and Tim. Visitation Friday in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home from 4-7 PM with rosary at 7 PM. In state Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City from 10:30 AM till mass at 11 AM. Memorials to the Wishes of the family. Arrangements by L.C Friederichs & Son. www.lcfandson.com
