Lawrence M. Schweihofer Sr.'s Obituary
Lawrence M. Schweihofer Sr., 82, of St. Clair Twp. died May 28th. He was born January 28, 1939 to the late Lawrence and Alice Schweihofer. He married Carol Huber on June 27, 1964. Lawrence began his truck driving career as an owner/operator, continued as a driver in the United States Army, retired as a teamster, but he was always a farmer at heart. Lawrence was a man who loved his family and lived his faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; children, Jodi (Greg) Strickler, Judy (Doug) Hatcher, Jan (Michael) Almada, Larry (Cheri) Schweihofer Jr.; grandchildren, Lindsay, Kate, Ryan Strickler, Dustin, Jenaya Hatcher, Ben Almada, Lance, Max, Julia, Rachelle Schweihofer, Alex Gasparetto; Siblings, Ruthann Kollmorgen, Pat (Sharon) Schweihofer; sister-in-law, Margie Schweihofer
He is preceded in death by his brother, Alfred Schweihofer; brother-in-law, Glen Kollmorgen
A funeral mass will be Friday, June 4th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Thursday June 3rd. from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Private family prayers will take place at the funeral home prior to the mass.
