Kris Michael Kliemann's Obituary
Kris Michael Kliemann, age 67, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully with oldest daughter, Kari by his side on July 24, 2024. He was born on June 6, 1957 to Christine and the late Kenneth Klieman. Kris was a graduate of St. Clair High School, class of 1975. Following his schooling, he went on to work as an electrician for Local 58 Detroit for over 40 years. Kris was an active member of the American Legion, Marysville post 449, a proud member of the International Brotherhood of electrical workers Local 58 Detroit, and a longtime member of the Moose Lodge 158, Port Huron. Kris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Earlier in life he would take his family camping, until he got a cabin on Avery Lake in Atlanta, MI. He spent a lot of time up at his cabin, later in life he got a side by side, which he drove all over up north. He cherished the time he spent up north with his two daughters, grandchildren and friends. Most importantly, the memories made with his father, brothers and nephew.
He is the beloved son of Christine Klieman, survived by his daughters, Kari Kliemann, Kaci Carlisle; grandchildren, Bailee, Mayzie, Oliver, Kerigan; siblings, Ken (Cindy) Klieman, Randy Klieman, Keith (Denise) Klieman; special friends, Barbara Shappee, Jim Babel and Eddie Beatty; nephew, Kain, and several special nieces.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristine Kliemann.
Cremation arrangements with L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair, MI. Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post 449. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, October 5th 2024 starting at 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Marysville, 299 Huron Blvd, Marysville, MI 48040.
