Katherine A. "Kay" Fisher's Obituary
Katherine A. “Kay” Fisher age 88 of St. Clair died Thursday, July 16, 2009. Kay was born March 6, 1921 in Westernport, Maryland to the late John and Katherine Fahey. She served as a
Womens'' Army Corps, during WWII, honorably discharged as a Sergeant, and married Sergeant Harold Fisher in 1944, Harold preceded her in death in 2001. Kay worked as a medical director for Dr. Clifford’s office until 1975 and for Dr. Rutledge and Sullivan until 1983. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair, a former Garden Club member and bridge player.
Kay is survive by her two daughter’s, Kit Fisher of Marysville and Peggy (Bill) Dobson of Atlanta, Georgia, her grand son Patrick Dobson. In addition to her husband, Kay was also preceded in death by her grand son Christopher Dobson in 2001.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-7 PM in the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home,
St.Clair. In state Monday from 9:30 till mass at 10 AM from St. Mary’s, St. Clair.
