Joyce E. Boden's Obituary
Joyce E. Boden, age 69 of Marysville, passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2009 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born December 4, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan.
Joyce married the love her life, Manfred Boden and they have shared 47 years of companionship, loyalty, and unconditional love. Manfred says “she was more than one-in-a-million; she was more like one-in-a-billion.” Mr. Boden also said, in forty nine years of knowing his wife, he never once heard her make a negative comment about anyone. A very talented artist, Joyce specialized in pressed flowers and portrait painting. Joyce was a devout Christian and was a member of the Worship Team and Choir at Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Clair. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Visitation will be held at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair on Tuesday from 1-4p and 6-9p with a 8:30pm scripture service. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Additional visitation will be from 10-11am at the church. Memorials are suggested to St. Clair High School Sonja Boden Music Scholarship.
