Joyce Agnes Arnold's Obituary
On June 25, 2023, Joyce Agnes Arnold passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 98 years old. A longtime resident of Marine City, Michigan, Joyce was well-loved in the community. Through her work at Marine City Junior High School, she came to know many of the students and watched them grow into adulthood. Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Richard Arnold. Joyce was the last surviving member of the children of John and Julia Arnold and their spouses. She is survived by her children, Bonnie, Mickie, Ricky, Terrie, Tina, Tammie, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. A special thank you to Joyce’s caregivers, Jennifer, Grace, and Sheila for their comfort and compassion during a difficult time.
The viewing will be held at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, at 214 Trumbulll St., St. Clair, on Friday, June 30th, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the St. Joseph Shrine, 1828 Jay Street, Detroit, on Saturday, July 1st. The pre-Mass viewing will start at 11:30 am, the Mass will be held at 12:30 and a lunch will follow in the St. Joseph Social Hall across the street.
