Joseph John Machcinski's Obituary
Joseph John Machcinski, age 86 of St. Clair passed away January 7, 2008. He was born
November 23, 1921 in Detroit to the late Stanley and Stephanie Machcinski.
He attended Detroit schools and went off to Alliance Technical Institute. In his life he was active
In farming and politics. He wrote a book “For a Better USA” about what he thought should be a three presidential era not one. Joseph also worked for and retired from Chrysler Stamping Plant.
He is survived by his; sister Stella Mary Senkow of Emmett and sister-in-law Clara Machcinski of Seattle. Nephew, Richard (Gayle) Andrews of Utica, niece, Dolores (Stanley) Pielack of Grand Blanc, nephew Dennis (Lois) Machcinski of Emmett, nephew, Gary (Julie) Machcinski of North Branch, nephew, Roger (Jean) Machcinski of Dryden, niece, Myra (Randy) Norton of Frankenmuth, nephew, John (Janet) Senkow of Memphis, niece, Janice (Bill) Mytinger of Marysville, nephew, William (Nancy) Senkow of Emmett aqnd Nephews Jeffrey and Craig Machcinski and niece RoseAnn Machcinski He was also a great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joseph also had a beloved friend and keeper, Michelle Manning.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Victoria Andrzejewski, Edward
Machcinski, Casmir Machcinski, Henry Machcinski, and Leo Machcinski.
Service will be Saturday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 3-8 PM at L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home
and Saturday 9:30 - 10 AM at the Church. Memorials to St. Mary’s
