Joseph George LeTarte's Obituary
Joseph George LeTarte, age 85 of Wales Twp, died Sunday, July 15, 2007. George was born August 4, 1921 to the late Joseph and Florence LeTarte. George was a Tool and Die entrepreneur and the president of LeTarte Inc. of Smiths Creek. He was a disabled veteran of WWII serving in the US Air Corps, receiving a purple heart for valor and was life member of the DAV and the VFW, George was a true patriot of this country.
He is survived by brother’s, Edward (Pauline) LeTarte, Frank (the late June) LeTarte, Walter (June) LeTarte and sisters Phyllis (the late Howard) Ring and Florence (Bill) Remski, many nephews and nieces and close friends and neighbors. He was also preceded in death by a brother William.
Visitation in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Hone, Monday 7-9 Pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In state Wednesday at St. Paul''s Episcopal Church, St. Clair from 9 till service at 9:30 AM
Cremation will follow. Memorials in George’s name may be directed to the DAV
