Joseph M. Holladay's Obituary
Joseph M. Holladay, age 75, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully January 23, 2018. He was born on September 15, 1942 in Louisville, KY to the late Joseph and Marie Holladay. He graduated from Marine City High School and
Ferris State University. He married Sandra Hill in Marine City on February 6, 1965.
Joe had a long career supervising automotive manufacturing plants at Detroit
Gasket and Huron Products. He was also very involved in his community as a past member of the East China School District Board, St. Clair Chamber of Commerce and various church committees.
He is survived by his wife; Sandy Holladay, daughters; Suzanne (Dave) Cybulla, Stephanie (John) Carson, grandchildren; Jack Carson, Andrew Carson, Thomas Carson, and Leah Cybulla.
He is also survived by his brothers; John Holladay (late Linda) and Thomas (Betty) Holladay,
brothers and sisters in-laws; Don (Margaret) Hill, MaryLou (Don) Gramer, Sally (Gerald) Vogel, Carol (Vernon) Harris, Dean (Drema) Hill, and Dennis (Katie) Hill, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27 at the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, a Joseph Holladay Memorial Fund has been set up at NorthStar Bank in St. Clair, benefiting students in the East China School District wishing to pursue a career in the automotive field.
