John M. "Jack" Farr's Obituary
John M "Jack Farr age 81 of St. Clair died Wednesday, February 18, 2009.
John was born in St.Clair, Michigan to the late Robert and Carol (nee Jenks) Farr. John graduated from Washington University . He was a veteran of WW II serving US Navy. He married Phyllis Jean Farr on February 14, 1948 and she died July 3, 2006. John retired as President of the State Savings Bank of Fenton, and was a member of the Sarnia Yacht Club .
John is survived by sons Robert (Laurie) Farr of Beverly Hills, MI, and Stephen (Grace) Farr of Yorba Linda, CA.. Grandchildren Jennifer, Kristine, Sarah, David and Grace.
In addition to his wife and parents, John was also preceded in death by a son David Farr, and brother Robert Farr.
Cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held at a later date at St. Paul''s Episcopal Church, St. Clair. Memorials may be made in John’s name to American Cancer Society.
