John Christian Niederhauser, age 57 of St. Clair, died Friday, October 29, 2004 after a brief illness. He was born November 1, 1946 to the late Walter and Signe Niederhauser. John was a Licensed Professional Surveyor and a partner with BMJ Inc. of Port Huron. He served on the St. Clair Township Planning Commission and was a member of the Marysville Rotary, the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors,Southeast Chapter, Hydrofest, and an active member of St. Peter''s Lutheran Church in St. Clair and attended Colonial Woods Church in Port Huron. John is survived by his loving wife, Joanne, his daughters Julie (Steve) Mosurak and Jennifer (Alex) Lengemann. Granddaughter, Sara Mosurak, step-daughters, Annette (Greg) Chisholm and Lauri (Scott) Bombard. Step-grandchildren, Alyson, Hailey, Rachel and Cory Chisholm and Josef Bombard. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Marie Niederhauser. Visitation is Monday and Tuesday from 2P-9P in the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Visitation at Colonial Woods Church, Wednesday, from 10A until time of service at 10:30A. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery. Memorials to St. Peter''s Lutheran Church Education Fund or a scholarship that will be established in John''s name with the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors.
