Mr John "Jack" Schweihofer's Obituary
John R. “Jack” Schweihofer, a life long St. Clair resident died Friday, November 22, 2013, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 73. Jack was born August 31, 1940 in St. Clair to the late Louis and Georgina Schweihofer. He married Rosalie Jaronoski on April 11, 1970.
Jack was retired from the Ford Engine Plant and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. He enjoyed being out doors, his flowers and following the Red Wings, Tigers and Notre Dame. Football. Jack and Rose would always travel up north in the fall for the colors. He is survived by his wife Rosalie, his brother, Jerry (Linda) Schweihofer, sisters, Marion (Walt) Jones, Louise Courville and Ann (Dan) Linsday , sister-in-law Elaine Schweihofer, brother-in-law, Richard (Dawn) Jaronoski, and many nieces and nephews and his four legged friend Buffy. Jack was preceded in death by his brother Jim Schweihofer, brother-in-laws Robert Jaronoski, Jim Courville .
Visitation Sunday in the L.C.Friederich & Son Funeral Home from 1-4 and 6-8 PM with Rosary at 7 PM. In state Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9 AM till 10 AM when mass will be celebrated. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
