Members of The American Legion Post 382 express their sympathy to the family and friends of fellow veteran John. We are grateful for his heroic services with the Army Air Corps during World War II. On a personal note, John was a personal friend and fellow Rotarian and "Curmudgeon" who I will always remember as a mentor. Thank you John for making my life much more interesting and richer.
John became friends with Lea and me through St. Clair Rotary. He was a ready volunteer and such an engaging person. I learned to be thoughtful and patient by following his example. Our short time with him has been cherished for many years.
