Joan Elizabeth Bachand's Obituary
Joan Elizabeth Bachand, 84, our beloved mother, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
She was born on May 20, 1938 in St. Clair to the late Ralph Sr. and Anna Mayhew.
Joan was a loving and devoted mother, Nana, and Grand Nana.
She is survived by her three daughters, Beth Whiting, Barbara (Steve) Sabbagh, and Debbie (Don) Castor; Ten grandchildren, Josh Whiting, Heidi (Joe) Haligowski, Heather (Scott) Kowalski, Holly (Chad) Rann, Natasha and Deena Sabbagh, Gretchen (John) Simmons, Joel (Bosung) Thuma, Jenny Thuma, and Gabrielle Castor; Ten great grandchildren, Luke Whiting, Anna Joan and Eloise Haligowski, Andrew and Alex Kowalski, Dylan, Kate and Claire Rann, J.P. and Henry Simmons, as well as one on the way; her brother, Bob (Lynn) Mayhew and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Williams, Mary Jean Gauthier, and Katherine Dandron; brothers, Carl Mayhew and Ralph Mayhew Jr.
