Jeanne H Versaw's Obituary
Jeanne H. Versaw of St. Clair died Thursday, June 8, 2006. She was born in Benton Harbor, January 2, 1918 to the late Clayton & Mignon Williams. She worked for Peoples Bank, retiring January of 1984, and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair, the Rosary Altar Society and the Blue Water First Friday Club. Jeanne married Stan Versaw, and he preceded her in death December 2, 1982.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Ann (Robert) Ameel, Linda Kelly, Jean (Scott) Samples,
step daughter Sharon (Fran) Nofs and son William Versaw. Several grand and many great grandchildren and many friends also survive. In addition to her husband, Stan, she was preceded in death by brothers Webb and Robert and sister Roberta.
Visitation Friday at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home from 2-9 PM with Rosary at 7 PM.
Saturday in state at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:30 AM till mass at 10 AM. Burial Mt Hope Cemetery, Her grandsons, Robert C., Frederick and Timothy Ameel, Ted Chickonoski, Caleb Samples and Edward Johnsick will serve as pall bearers. Memorials to St. Mary’s or the American Diabetes Association
