I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a great guy with whom I enjoyed working at WAJI, MAJIC 95.1 in Fort Wayne. We kept in touch through the years, but notr as often as I would have liked. I thank God for the friendship Jim and I had. I met Jim when we worked together at WBCL in Ft. Wayne, IN and we became good friends. When I move to Defiance, we still kept in touch, though not as often. I also thank God for Jim's strong faith and for his personal reationship with Jesus Christ. I worked with Jim at Starr Commonwealth Schools in Van Wert, Ohio back in the early 1990's. He shared a lot about his life, career in radio, his faith and family. He was an inspiration and mentor in the ways of conservatism and he held a high standard of integrity for himself. He was a good and humble friend of whom I shall never forget. I met Jim at 92.3 The Fort. He was a good man, a good broadcaster, and a good Christian. Even through his illnesses, he kept a positive attitude that exuded courage, and faith. I'll miss his friendship and support, the late night chats at IHOP after our respective airshifts, and his quiet strength. Condolences to the family, and God bless you, Jim. I loved Jim, he was always encouaging and always helpful to me when I worked at "The Fort". I am so sad that he had to go through so much pain before coming home to god. I will never forget his support when I was going through a rough time myself, and my confidence was crushed. Jim lifted me up and helped me through my time in Ft. Wayne.
