Jack L. Brophy's Obituary
Jack L. Brophy, age 83, of Marysville died January 8, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 18, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Leroy and Josephine Brophy.
Jack married Jean McInerney on August 25, 1948. An Army Air Corps veteran, Jack served in Europe during WWII. He retired from Estate Motors in Birmingham, MI as General Sales Manager after a long career. An avid golfer, Jack was a long time member of the St. Clair Golf Club and was proud to have three hole in ones to his credit.
Mr. Brophy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean. Children; Scott Brophy, Terri (Rick) Brusatori and Mark Brophy. Grandfather of 6 and brother of Beverly (Don) Golemba. Jack was predeceased in death by his parents Leroy and Josephine.
Cremation has taken place and private services have been held. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Hospice, MOB Suite 102, 22101 Moross Rd., Detroit, MI 48236. The famly is being served by L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair.
