Isabelle Lutz's Obituary
Isabelle J. Lutz, age 76 of St. Clair died Tuesday, August 2, 2011.
Isabelle was born June 26, 1935 in Goodells to the late
Andrew and Rena Docherty. She graduated from Eastern Michigan and
taught in the St. Clair Schools. Isabelle married Charles Lutz in 1958 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She and Charles were the former Co-owners of the St. Clair Dime Store, and Isabelle managed the Ben Franklin in St. Clair. She was a volunteer with Little League and Scouts, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and an avid bridge player.
Isabelle is survived by her daughter Theresa Young and son Stephen Lutz, her grandson Jonathan Young, her brother Jim (Louise) Docherty, two sisters
Lucille Rucker and Eleanor Kane, sister-in-law Maureen Docherty and several nieces and nephews, and her dog Mandy. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by her brother Robert Docherty.
Visitation Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home. In state Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair from 9-10 AM.
Burial in Caswell Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the cancer society
