Iris M. Emerich's Obituary
Iris M. Emerich, age 86, of St. Clair passed away Thursday August 24, 2017. She was born July 13, 1931 to the late Lawrence and Louise Livernois. She married Edward Emerich September 2, 1950. Iris worked at Veterinary Associates in Port Huron. She enjoyed her Tuesday night bowling league, taking care of her garden, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Edward Emerich; Children, Steve (Debra) Emerich, Tom (Linda) Emerich, Ann Landra; Grandchildren, Don Basnaw Jr., Christine (Matt) Campbell, Melissa (Zach) Russell, Andrew (Shawna) Emerich, Alan (Katy) Emerich, Jacob (Cindy) Emerich, Jo-Ann (Kyle) Blake; Sister, Rosemary Servick; Sister-in-law, Theresa Livernois; as well as 9 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Son, Gary Emerich; Daughter, Jacquelyn Basnaw; Son-in-law, Joseph Landra, as well as her brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 28th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. With visitation Monday 10-11AM at Church prior to Mass. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, St. Clair.
Memorials may be made out to Blue Water Hospice. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair.
