Irene Edna Walters' Obituary
Irene Edna Walters, age 92 of St. Clair, died Thursday March 31, 2016.
Irene was born October 27, 1923 in New Haven, Michigan to the late George and Elva Erdman. She married Melvin Walters November 11, 1944, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2009. Irene worked for Detroit Gasket and Howell Industries. She was a volunteer with the St. Clair Art Association, a member of the Senior 59’ers Club at McMoran, and several Bridge Clubs.
She is survived by her sister Georgine Griffin and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband , she was also preceded in death by her sister’s Marian Kaatz and Margaret Smith and Lorraine Faucher.
Private family burial has taken place. Memorials may be made to Heart Association or Cancer Society. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son
