Ida Genaw's Obituary
Ida Genaw age 89 of Algonac died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006. Ida was born February 5, 1917 in Vermiho, New Mexico. She moved to Michigan in 1949 and provided private home care in the area for over 30 years. She married Virgil Duran, who died in 1977. She married Harold “Bear” Genaw
and he died in 1983.
Ida is survived by her children, Lillian (Ronald) Fisher, Joseph Duran, Anthony (Cathy) Duran,
Harold (MaryLynn) Genaw and Roberta (James) Lanvers. 21 grand, 22 great and several great-great grandchildren , her sisters Mary,Maryann, Frances, Eileen and Minnie, and her brother Richard.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her son Philbert, grand son Jason and 2 brother and 2 sisters. Visitation, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home.
Funeral Thursday 11:30 AM , in the funeral home. Burial in Rosehill cemetery. Memorials to donors’ choice
