Henry R. "Harry" Gilbert, age 90, of St. Clair and Grosse Pointe died unexpectedly, November 19, 2014. Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 31 year Marie Kuhnlein Gilbert.
Loving father of James (Dick Wagner), Jan (Ralph) DeFour, John (Tammi Drey) and step-father to ten Kuhnleins: Joellyn (Kevin) Gray, Beth, Claudia (Robert) Eaton, Daniel, Allison (Ron ) Lang, David (Susan), Leticia (David) Helgans, Karen (James) Jones, Donald (Lauri Read), and Dean (Nicole). Dear brother of Mary (Edward) Schmidt, and Margaret (Rudolph) Pale. Also survived by 28 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Ardel (32 years), brother Donald Gilbert and grandson Mark DeFour. In State Saturday, November 22 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 415 N. Sixth Street, St. Clair, MI 48079, from 12:30 PM till funeral Mass at 1:30.
