Helen C. Wuestenberg's Obituary
Helen C. Wuestenberg, age 95, of Algonac, passed away December 28, 2021. She was born March 28, 1926 in Cottrellville Twp. to the late Alfred and Christine Smith.
On November 30, 1946 Helen married Charles Wuestenberg. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2006. Helen was a proud homemaker that loved to cook, bake, sew and spend time with her family. In addition to being a homemaker Helen worked for many local businesses, including the Detroit Gasket. In her spare time she also loved to read.
She is survived by her children, Charles Jr. (Darlene) Wuestenberg, William Wuestenberg, Lorraine Wuestenberg and Dennis Wuestenberg; grandchildren, Karl Wuestenberg, Earl (Tami) Wuestenberg and Danette (Bob) Beattie; great grandchildren, Aubry, Autumn, Ashley, Nolin, Glen, Earl and Mae and many nieces and nehpews.
Helen was preceded in death by her siblings, Melvin, Irene, Alice, Helen, Laverne, Walt, Harold, Fred and Maynard.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 4th at 11:00 a.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Interment will be in Smith Cemetery, Cottrellville Twp. Visiting hours are Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
