H Earl Balfour's Obituary
H. Earl Balfour age 86 of St. Clair died Wednesday, September 21, 2005. Earl was born February 25, 1919 in St. Clair to the late Russell and Laura Balfour. He was a life member of First United Methodist Church, St. Clair, life member and past master of the Masonic Evergreen Lodge #9 F and AM and past high priest of the Royal Arch Masons #12. He retired from Michigan Consolidated Gas Company and farmed all his life. Earl is survived by his two sisters Donna (Robert) Tassie and Gladys (Vern) Campbell. Brother in law Gerald Emig and sister in law Mary Jane Peyton; Many nieces and nephews and many friends who helped Earl continue farming as he got older. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Margaret and brother Kenneth
Visitation Saturday 6-9 PM and Sunday 1-8 PM from the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home , St. Clair. In state Monday from 12 noon till service at 1 PM from the First United Methodist Church, the Rev Don Gotham officiating. Burial Hillside Cemetery. Memorials to First United Methodist Church, St. Clair or the Evergreen Lodge #9 F and AM.
