Gertrude E. Zimmer's Obituary
Gertrude E. Zimmer age 95 of St. Clair died Friday, November 2, 2007. She was born in St. Clair
Aug 22, 1912 to the late Alvin and Hilda Campbell. She married Ben Zimmer Nov. 25, 1931 and he died Feb. 22, 1982. Gertrude was retired from the River Crab and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She also served as a foster mother for over 50 infants.
Gertrude is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Joe) Achatz/Nino, Rosemary (Don) McDonald, Joan (Eldon) Smith and Janet Zimmer, her son Alvin (Gloria) Zimmer, 22 Grand children and 60 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren also survive and her friends at Wadhams Care Center. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her son James Zimmer
Visitation at the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Hone, St. Clair, Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
In state at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, Tuesday from 9:30 AM till mass at 10 AM.. Burial St. Mary''s Cemetery. Memorials to Kids in Distress
