Gerald F. Rocker's Obituary
Jerry F. Rocker age 75 of St. Clair died Thursday Feb. 21. Jerry was born April 16, 1926 to the late
Edward and Hazel Rocker. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Army. He married Betty
Butlin June 30, 1962. Jerry worked as a carpenter and served as the City of St. Clair Building Inspector for many years and was retired member of the St. Clair Fire Department. He was a member of the American Legion, St. Clair Post and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Jerry also enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife Betty, His children Mary (Tony) Vargo, Leann (the late John) Ladensack,
Carol (Robert) Blanchard, and Jim Butlin. 12 grand children and 13 great grandchildren, His brother
James (Phyllis) Rocker, and 3 nephews. In addition to his parents Jerry was preceded in death
by grandson John McFadden,
Visitation From L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home Saturday 4-8 P.M. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
Funeral service Monday 11 AM from the Funeral Home with burial in Hillside Cemetery. Memorials St. Peter’s or St. Clair Fire Department. Mr. Rocker’s grandchildren will serve as pall bears.
