George A. Davis age 89 of St. Clair died at home, Tuesday, May 4, 2004 surrounded by his loving daughter Victoria,son-in law John,and grandsons Doug, Jeff and Dan. George was born in Alberta Canada. He married C. Irene Aytes, October 19, 1936 and she died June 18, 2001. George was an avid golfer and bowler, and a longtime member of the St. Clair River Country Club. were he was former club champion and greens superintendent. George is survived by his daughter Victoria (John)Barry, son Harry E. Davis. Grandsons Richard, Douglas & Jeff Hadwin, Daniel(Elizabeth) Draghiceanu and the late Derik Draghiceanu. Great grandchildren Nicole (Joe) Biskner, Brittnay Hadwin, Brett, Scott & Garrett Hadwin, Haley & Aidan Draghiceanu. Great great grandson Jayden Biskner. Sisters Marion(Al), Helen, Catherine,Jean(John), Norma(Bob) and Clara(Steve). Brother in law Oliver Aytes. Also preceded in death by Brother Edwin Davis. Visitation Thursday and Friday 1-4 and-6-9 PM L.C.Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Saturday 10 AM till service at 11 AM in the funeral home, the Rev Max Amstutz officiating.
