George "Bud" Iles' Obituary
George E. “Bud” Iles, age 88 of Marysville formerly of St. Clair, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2016. Bud was born in Akron, Ohio on December 22, 1927 to the late George and Dorothy Ann Iles. He married Betty Rex on June 5, 1948 in Akron. Bud retired as the office manager for Diamond Crystal Salt where he worked for over 40 years. He was in the US Army during the WW II and was awarded WWII Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal Japan. He was a former member and past president of the St. Clair Rotary Club, the St. Clair Country Club and the Elks Club.
Bud is survived by his beautiful wife Betty, daughter Debbie Iles, grand children Jason (Angie) Iles, Kelly Shock, Jeff (Jill) Iles, John Iles and Ric Arcuri and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by son David (Barb) Iles.
Visitation in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home Tuesday from 2-8 PM.
