George C. Eisen's Obituary
George C. Eisen, age 96, of St. Clair, passed away February 23, 2025. He was born March 3, 1928 in St. Clair to the late Carl and Albertha Eisen. George graduated from St. Clair High School class of 1947. He entered the U.S. Airforce in 1948 and was honorably discharged in 1951 with the rank of Sargent. After serving his country in the Korean War he worked for Cris Craft Corp and in 1953 went to barber college, and spent the next 40 years as a barber in St. Clair. George married the love of his life Doris Denby on April 19, 1958 and she preceded him in death on January 12, 2018.
George was a life member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, St. Clair where he was active in the church council, ushering and property committee. He also enjoyed time deer hunting, and wood working.
He is survived by his son, Keith (Mary Jo) Eisen; daughter in law, Nancy Eisen; grandchildren, Bobby (Lindsay) Eisen, Taylor (Aaron) May, Lori (Andrew) Stevenson, Gary Millikin; great grandchildren, Jackson and Nolan Stevenson, Blake and Kenzie Eisen, Ally, Leah and Ella May; along with many nieces and nephews.
George is preceded in death by his, son Kenneth Eisen; siblings, Karen, Louis, Rolland, and Carl.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church, St. Clair. With visiting on Friday February 28, 2025 at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. along with visiting Saturday at church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Pallbearers will be Bobby Eisen, Gary Eisen, Dick Eisen, Gary Millikin, Andrew Stevenson and Jackson Stevenson. Memorials may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church.
