Fred R. Dalzen's Obituary
Fred R. Dalzen age 86 of St. Clair died Friday July 16, 2004. He was born in Detroit January 13, 1918 in Detroit and married Florence Dreyer, August 21, 1937. Fred owned Dalzen Manufacturing in St. Clair, and built the bowling alley in St. Clair. He was a 32 degree Mason and enjoyed bowling, golfing, football and horseshoes. He was noted for his public speaking and singing and touched many people with his generosity. Fred is survived by his wife Florence, Daughters Judy (Richard) Patterson of Port Huron, Carole Anne Dalzen of Canton, MI, and Florence(Florrie) Carlson of St. Clair. Grandchildren, Karen Patterson of Munice, IN., Jennifer Robinson of Carbondale, IL., Rebecca Patterson of Kalamazoo, Tracy Carlson of St. Clair and Todd Carlson of Marquette, MI. great grandchildren Rachel, Heather and Kurt Robinson. Sisters Lorraine Sheppard of Ann Arbor and Luella Thompson of Ypsilanti, His dog "Pal" and cat "Buddy". Fred was preceded in death by Grandson Cole Carlson and adopted grandson Troy, Brothers Russell and Ronald Dalzen and Sister Elaine Dalzen. Visitation in the L.C.Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, Sunday 1-9 PM. Funeral service Monday 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial in Cadillac Memorial Garden East. memorials to Special Olympics or Humane Society of St. Clair County
