Frederick F. Fahs' Obituary
“Fast Frieddie” Frederick Francis Fahs went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2002. He was born in St. Clair on December 21, 1942 to the Late Elmer Frederick Fahs and Mary Matilda Westrick.
Fred was a master Tattoo Artist and a legend since 1972. He was a member of the national Tattoo
Association & The Christian Tattoo Association. He also served with the United States Coast Guard and was the recording secretary for labors local 463.
He spent his free time hunting, fishing and swimming with his grandsons, he was involved with and did volunteer work for various charities and organizations, such as, Old Newsboys, Boy Scouts and Feed the Children.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Charlotte, two daughters & son-in-laws, Lisa Jo (Harold)
Scheunemann and Tracy Lynn (Todd) Salazar of California. His beloved grandsons whom he enjoyed and loved very much, Michael, Aaron and Andrew, Sam and Joey. Father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward & Burnice Koss, Brother-in-law James Bearss, two sister-in-laws Bonnie (Calvin) Kaercher and Christine
(Richard) Mitchell. Several beloved cousins including, Mike Westrick, Mikey Malane, Robin Lee, Sally Ann as well as aunts, uncles and many, many friends.
In addition to his parents Fred was preceded in death by his beloved son Frederick Elmer Fahs, and dear cousin Slim Westrick.
Pallbearers will be his beloved grandson and fishing buddies, Michael Gunn, Harold Scheunemann,
Calvin Kaercher III, Mark Burns, Dickie Reynolds, Rick Neely, Honorary pallabearers are
Richard Mitchell and Edward Koss. Visitation from the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home
Friday 7-9 PM and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Service Sunday 1:30 PM from the funeral home.
Burial in St. Mary''s Cemetery.
