Frank R. Thorpe's Obituary
Frank R. Thorpe 72 of East China, MI went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2005. He was born in Chicago, II to the late Floyd and Anne Thorpe. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather, He was the founder of Thorpe Printing Services, Inc. in Marysville, and retired in 1995. He was a member qf the S. Ward Lodge #62 Marine City Masonic Lodge, The Shriners, Eastern Star and Scottish Rites. The Fraternal Order of The Eagles #2784, Fair Haven, and a life time member of the Elks Lodge, Port Huron and Sons of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Jean, a sister, Norma Rappa of Algonac, five sons, Lloyd (Loni), Larry, Lane, Lyndon, Lance (Stacie) Thorpe. Two daughters, Lori (Thomas) Dimon" Lee Ann (Claudio) Benadiva. 20 Grandchildren, Todd, Trevor, Kristen, Heather, Kari, Shareen, Shannon, Butch, Jason, Sabelyn, Troy, Carina, Joshua, Lance II, Lindsey, Larissa, Nicholas, Nathan, Deanna and Curtis. 19 Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, friends and Uncle_Bud from Arizona. He was preceded in death by his son Lyle Thorpe and his sister Kay Brogan. Funeral Services will be held at L.C. Friederichs Funeral Home St Clair. Visiting is Tuesday, 7 - 9 PM. Wednesday, 2 -4 pm and 7-9PM with Masonic service at 7PM Wednesday. Services will be Thursday at 10:30, at the funeral home burial will be at Rose Hill ''
