Frank J. Wyss' Obituary
Frank (Francis) Wyss passed away Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007, in St. Johns River District Hospital. He was born June 15, 1961 in Mercy Hospital, Port Huron, MI. He married Margaret Ulrich-Adams on February 14, 1994 in Port Huron. Frank graduated from St. Clair High School in 1979. He worked at the Diamond Crystal Salt Company for a short time before joining the Navy in 1982. Aside from the five years he lived in Hawaii, he was a St. Clair resident all his life. He worked hard to be a good hockey player and played through all the age groups in the Port Huron Minor Hockey Association.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret of St. Clair, his step-daughter, Kathy (Tony) Zimmerman and his step-grandchildren, Marcus and Austin Zimmerman of Wolverine Lake, MI. The rest of his immediate family is his niece, Brooke Cheney of New Jersey. His sister, Mary Sue Wyss of Chesterfield, MI and his parents, Frank and Helen Jane (Snyder) Wyss of Ruby, MI. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins with fond memories of “Frankie”. Also surviving are numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in the Ulrich family. He often reflected on the fun of growing up with the Robinson Street neighbors.
Visiting hours are this Saturday, April 14, from 2:00P until 4:00P followed by a brief memorial service at the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home in St. Clair. Anyone wishing to make a memorial can direct it to the St. Clair County Community Mental Health Association or the Port Huron Minor Hockey Association.
