Mrs Frances E Hyslop's Obituary
Frances E. Hyslop passed quietly at her home in St. Clair, Michigan on Thursday morning June 27, 2013.
She is survived by her children Duncan and Heather Hyslop. Frances was born Nov. 5, 1915 in Long Island, New York. Married Hector Hector (Scotty) James Hyslop on May 25, 1946 in New York then shortly moved to beautiful to St. Clair, Michigan. Some of her many accomplishments are being a: Devoted mother and wife and long time member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Frances loved community service; she was charter member of St. Clair’s Study Club, Garden Club and developed the St. Clair Art Fair with Cecil Frederick and many others. Frances Hyslop painted for over 60 years and is best known for her landscapes and flower paintings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held on July 13th at 11am at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 115 N. Sixth St, St. Clair, 48079.
