Eugene D. "Jim" Hyslop's Obituary
Eugene “Jim” Hyslop, age 81 of St. Clair passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 after a long illness. He was born September 2, 1928 to the late Louis and Mary Hyslop. He married Margaret Wolfe, July 24, 1948 at St. Mary’s, St.Clair and she preceded him in death on March 29, 1984. Eugene was employed at the New Haven Foundry for 37 years retiring in 1988, and was a lifelong resident of St. Clair.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed tending his garden.
Eugene is survived by his children, Carol (Russ) Jones of St. Clair, Michael (Vivian) Hyslop of North Street and Donald Hyslop of St. Clair, two brothers, Allen (Patricia) Hyslop of St. Clair and Harvey (Beverly) Hyslop of Eagle River, WI.,
grand children Michelle (Dean) Malcolm, Amanda Jones, Ashley (Dan) Gryszkiewicz and Deanna Hightower, great grand children Porter, Keagan and Payton Malcolm, Dillon, Bailee and Dawson Hightower, and extend family and many nieces and nephews and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by brothers Clarence “Sonny”, Raymond, Glenn and sister Lillian Ellery.
Visitation Friday from 2-9 PM in the L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair, In state Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:30 until mass at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donor's choice . Arrangements
