Eugene T. "Gene" Gulan's Obituary
Eugene T. "Gene" Gulan, age 76, of Marysville, passed away January 1, 2022. He was born November 9, 1945 in Detroit to the late Alexander and Lottie Gulan. He married Carrie Stewart on August 14, 1990. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Upon completion of his service he worked as a millwright for Chrysler. After retiring he drove the senior citizen bus for the City of St. Clair. A job he truly enjoyed. He is survived by his wife; Carrie Stewart-Gulan; his children and step-children; Robin (Jaime) Chan, Julieanne (Nancy) Jones, Matt (Jaqui) Brisbois, Steven (Christina) Gulan, Katherine (John) Gulan-Zomponti, Murray (Andi) Jones; many beloved grandchildren and his favorite niece Anastasia Gulan.
Military honors will be performed at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8 followed by a family sharing memorial service at L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan. Memorials may be made to family wishes.
