Eleanor M. Ziegenfelder of St. Clair died Tuesday November 26,2002. Eleanor was born July 13,
1924 in Millet, Alberta, Canada to the late Michael & Annie Krivens. Eleanor married Art "Ziggie" Ziegenfelder, May 7, 1949 at St. Jude''s in Detroit. She was Art''s elegant wife for 53 1/2 years, and was known as the "Hat Lady" for the beautiful seasonal hats she wore to church, lunch and dinner. She was a member of St. Mary''s Catholic church, the Rosary Altar Society and past president of the Senior''s Club.
She is survived by her husband Art "Ziggie" Ziegenfelder, his Treasure, and her Jewels are, Sharon (Don) Smith, Mary Kustrzyk, Peggie (Al) Reeves, Elizabeth Ziegenfelder, Susan (Tom) Ingles, Peter (Stacy) Ziegenfelder, Elaine (Robert) Sewell, Paul (Diane) Ziegenfelder. Daughters Angelia and Loraine died at birth. Grandchildren Brian & Kevin
(Amy) Smith, Travis & Christopher Kustrzyk, Jim & Eric Reeves, Kevin Jr. (Samantha) & Jonathan Davis, Nicholas (Tammy), Tim, Scott & Shannon Ingles, twins Gregory & Daniel Ziegenfelder (Peter), Alex, & Ariana Ziegenfelder (Paul), great grandchildren Cambrie & Kenny Smith. Sister Patricia Nasser and Brother Michael Krivens.
In laws Larry Nasser, Germaine Krivens, Bob Kohn, Eileen & Jack Gallagher, Bob & Marge Ziegenfelder, Norm & Carol Ziegler, Carol Swantek, Paula & Gary Jaeckle, Ellen & Dr. Clare Janis. Also preceded in death by brothers Harry & Dennis, and sisters Marion Russel & June Kohn. Visitation From the L.C.Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair Wed. 6-9 PM and Friday 2-9 PM. Saturday in state at St. Mary''s, St. Clair from 9:30 till mass at 10 AM. Burial St. Mary''s Cemetery. Memorials to Blue Water Hospice.
