Edward Bell Nelson's Obituary
Edward Bell Nelson age 89 of St. Clair died, Sunday, February 28,2010.
Edward was born in Detroit Sept. 18, 1920 to the late Austin and Elsie Nelson. He married Dorothy Rose Stockman August, 21,1953 and she died May 10, 2009.
Edward was a veteran of WW II serving as a naval aviator in the North Atlantic. He graduated with an engineering degree, Edward was a dedicated manager with Chrysler Corporation over a 40-year career in automotive manufacturing.
He is survived by his children Larry (Kelly) Nelson, Lori (Jim) Lombardi,
Jay (Debbie) Nelson, Linda (Glenn) Key and Rebecca (Ted) Ferguson.
Grand children Christopher & Lindsay Nelson, Thomas & Matthew Lombardi,
Graham & Wyatt Key and Gilbert Ferguson.
In addition to his parents and wife Dorothy, Edward was preceded in death by his brother Austin A. Nelson and sister Elsie Snyder. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday,
March 20, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair
