Our hearts go out to you, Aunt Teddi, at this difficult time. We all will miss Uncle Eddie's vivacious personality and quick wit. My mother, Monica, always talked of him with such affection and was so happy when they could get together.
Mr. R will always be remembered as a big part of my childhood as I played next door with Rachel, Ryan and John. From the biggest fireworks in St. Clair and best summer parties, to the wonderful stories he always liked to share with us, he will be sadly missed. Our deepest sympathies to Ed's family. My father, Bill Robbins, knew Ed in their early years playing baseball in Dearborn. They also were in law school together and shared a love of politics. Ed was so very kind when my father passed away in Jan. 2007, to contact the funeral home to speak to me directly as due to his recent hospitalization, he was unable to attend the visitation. He also followed up with a wonderful note, sharing his memories of my father and their friendship. His kindness in reaching out to us during our time of sadness was greatly appreciated by our family. We know the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather is very difficult and we wanted to extend our sincere condolences. Our thougths and prayers are with you.

Uncle Ed always told us the story of how he happily took young George around with him as a way to meet women. George repaid the favor by becoming Ed's ring bearer at his wedding to Teddi, whom he wisely chose as his bride. We had last talked to Ed on Anne's birthday in December, when he said her voice made him feel better. We will always remember him with great love and good memories. Love to everyone,
