Edward J. Glaza's Obituary
Edward J. Glaza, age 77, of Marysville, passed away February 22, 2025. He was born September 30, 1947 in Sandusky to the late Arthur and Rita Glaza.
He worked for Semco Energy for many years and retired in 1997. He was also a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the City of St. Clair. Ed also worked various jobs after retirement. He had the gift of gab and always put smiles on people's faces.
He also enjoyed chasing freighters up and down the St. Clair River and always enjoyed a Dairy Queen treat while doing so.
He is survived by his children; Denise (Michael) Dupuie and Jason (Dellynn) Glaza, his grandchildren; Michael Dupuie II, Presley Dupuie, Kaleb Glaza, Eliana Glaza, Aiden, Kian and Silas.
He is also survived by many brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, February 27 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Pass and Review by the St. Clair Fire Department will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
