Dorothy Ann Friederichs age 81, of St. Clair died Thursday, June 1, 2006
Dorothy was born November 11, 1924 in Marine City to the late Alden A. Arnold and Irene Bammel
She graduated from Holy Cross, Marine City and the University of Michigan with a degree in Nursing.
She married George L. “Bud” Friederichs September 3, 1949, and he preceded her in death
on April 21, 2004. Dorothy worked for 18 years as a RN at River District Hospital retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair, She was a member of the Study Club, she and Bud had 200,000 miles with the Nomads.
She is survived by her children, Dr. George (Kathy) Friederichs, Jim (Laurel) Friederichs, Peggy (Mark) Milby, John (Marge) Friederichs. Grand children Paul (Kim) , Kara (Mike), Josh (fiancée Molly) Robbie, Katie, and John. Great grand children Austin, M’Kenzy and Nelson. Her sister Patty Dorin. Brother in laws and sister in laws Bernie and Margaret Kuhn and Harry and Joan Winston, and several nephew and nieces.
Visitation from the L.C, Friederichs & Son Funeral Home Sunday 1-7 PM
In state Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church from 9:30 AM till mass at 10 AM. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, memorials to St. John’s Hospice.
