Dorothy M. Penzien's Obituary
Dorothy M. Penzien, age 80, of St. Clair, passed away on September 17, 2022. She was born August 6, 1942 to the late William and Florence Marvin. On November 24, 1962 she married Larry L. Penzien in Marysville and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2011.
Dorothy was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Clair. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter and also her fur companion Annie.
She is survived by her children, Rich (Tracy) Penzien, Kathy (Shane) Peterson, Mark (Karissa) Penzien; grandchildren, Zachary (Tessa), Emily and Shane; great granddaughter, Lily; sisters, Mary Shovan Marlene Day; brother and sister in laws, Alice (Doug) Steckly, Mary Penzien, Bill Penzien, Linda Penzien; along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Penzien; son, John Penzien; brother, Gordie Marvin; and sister-in-law, Jane Penzien.
A Funeral Service will be Wednesday September 21, 2022 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. visitation will be Tuesday September 20, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair along with visiting at church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
