Dorothy "Dottie" Hazelton's Obituary
Dorothy "Dottie" Hazelton, age 81, of East China Twp., died December 4, 2016. She was born November 27, 1935 in Illinois. She married Robert Hazelton in 1960. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2014. She loved her family very much and was selfless in caring for them. She enjoyed cooking and baking and would bake wedding cakes for family and friends as her gift to them. She worked for Bell Telephone and later retired from the Detroit Edison.
She is survived by her sons; James and Edward and grandson; Thomas. She is also survived by her brother; Julian (Mary) Joiner. She was preceded in death by her son: Scott.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8 at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St.Clair. Visiting will be one hour prior to service. www.lcfandson.com
