Dorothy Hall's Obituary
Hall, (Cornell) Dorothy Evelyn, in her 101 st year, passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2012, in East China, Michigan. Dorothy was born at Birr, Ontario on Aug. 30,1911, to the late Alton Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Overholt) Cornell . She married Rev. William Hall in 1932 and he preceded her in death in 1974. Following clergymen duties overseas during WWII, the couple resumed their duties on Walpole Island before moving to Michigan in 1953, with residences in Detroit, Bay City & Marine City. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by sisters Jeanne(Earl) Nesbitt, Maudie (Reginald) Bunyun, brothers, Jesse (Mary),Alton (Julie),Hank(Betty),Neil (Ruby) and Clarence(Ora) Cornell. She is survived by many nephews and nieces. Funeral service 11 AM, Tuesday, March 6, at Rosehill Cemetery Chapel, East China Twp., Michigan. Arrangements by L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home.
