Mrs. Doris L. Eisen's Obituary
Doris Laura Eisen, loaned to us from God on April 29, 1930 and returned to her heavenly Father on Monday October 20, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Louis C Eisen, her children Paul (Grace) Eisen, Donna (Greg) Frazier, Jean Eisen, Joan (Art) Tomaszycki, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and sisters/brothers-in-law. She is predeceased by her parents; Fred and Louise Paetzel, brother; Harold Paetzel and sister; Bernice Bertossi.
She graduated Richmond Michigan High School in 1948, an active member of St Peter’s Lutheran Church for 64 years, active in the community with the election board, 4H and several years in the ELCA Mission Builders. She enjoyed her grandchildren, quilting, gardening, and polka dancing. She is also known for her cinnamon rolls and her pies (raspberry, rhubarb, and lemon meringue).
Celebration of Life will be Friday October 24, at 11 AM at St Peter's Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Graveside service to follow at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation at L.C. Friederichs & Son Funeral Home, St. Clair, Thursday, Oct . 23 from 2-8 PM and 1 hour Friday at the church before the service
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the ELCA Mission Builders, the Salvation Army, or St. Peter’s Lutheran Endowment Fund.
