Mrs. Donna June Jasmin's Obituary
Donna June Jasmin, age 73, of East China Twp., died November 23, 2014. She was born February 19, 1941 in Minden City to the late Howard and Kathryn (Kramer) Cleland. Donna graduated from Harbor Beach High School in 1958 and attended Port Huron School of Beauty. In April of 1965 Donna married Charles Jasmin. She worked for both Angler Rod and Callahan’s Auto in St. Clair.
Donna was a member of the Pine River Sportsman Club, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the YMCA. She enjoyed scrapbooking, shooting and archery and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Charles Jasmin, son, Marvin Jasmin (Starr), brothers and sisters; Richard (Nancy) Cleland, Dale (Sara) Cleland, Delores Russ, Deanne (William) Brown, Doyle (Ila) Cleland and Dora (Randy) Merriman, many nieces and nephews and her beloved pet “Tippy”. She was predeceased by a niece, Natalie Merriman.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday November 26th at 11:00 a.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Pine River Sportsman Club, Dr. Youssef Hanna’s Office in Port Huron, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clair or the wishes of the family.
